1. Acceptance
By accessing or using GeekTrade ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
GeekTrade is a web application that connects TradingView webhook alerts to Bybit (and potentially other exchanges) so you can run trading strategies automatically. The Service relays signals, manages position logic per your configuration, and does not hold or custody your funds. Trading and execution occur on your exchange account under your API credentials.
3. Account, Data, and API Keys
You must create an account to use the Service. We store account data and, for the purpose of executing trades on your behalf, we store your exchange API keys and related configuration in our database. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Use API keys with minimal required permissions (e.g. trade-only, no withdrawal). We do not hold your funds; funds remain on your exchange.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You may not use the Service for illegal activity, to circumvent exchange rules, or to harm others. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these Terms.
5. No Financial or Legal Advice
The Service is provided for automation and execution only. Nothing we provide constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes. Trading involves risk of loss.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. We are not responsible for exchange outages, API changes, webhook delivery delays, or third-party services (e.g. TradingView, Bybit).
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GeekTrade and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or funds, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on it. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for operational or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may retain data as required by law or our policies.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation (e.g. session, authentication) and to improve the Service. Your consent choice is stored locally. You can change your preference at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of our website.
